The Milby High School Cadettes are more than just a dance team; they are the continuation of a nearly century-old tradition of school spirit, service, and sisterhood.
Today's Cadettes compete under UIL guidelines, performing at school events and carrying on the legacy of discipline and camaraderie that has defined the group for generations. The resurrection of the drill team in 2019 was spearheaded by former COED and current Milby Principal Ruth Peña, who has worked to restore the program and its deep connection to the Milby community. The Milby Cadettes are currently led by Ms. Lauren Harrington.
